As you can see, in this one painting there are actually two: one is a colorful Tiepolo-inspired fresco with cherubs, and the other is the crackling, silver leafed plaster ceiling that has been painted to look as if it is falling off (to reveal the Tiepolo fresco). Since the mural decorates a spa ceiling, the cherubs are busy massaging and soothing divine feet.
